ABOUT CARTER

It started at Thermal Race Track. A family friend handed me the wheel of a go-kart and something clicked that day that never turned off. From that moment, I knew racing was my path. I didn't get into karting until I was 13, later than most, but I made up for it through preparation, patience, and a composure behind the wheel that I didn't fully understand until I got into a car. After building my foundation in karting, I made the move to Spec Miata. A production based road racing class where you earn every position. Something changed when I got in the car. I found my home. In my very first Spec Miata race, I finished in the top 10.

Behind the wheel I am calm, focused and in control. Growing up in Truckee, California shaped me into someone patient, aware, and tough. The same mindset I bring to backpacking in the Sierras or exploring back roads in my Tacoma, I bring to every race weekend, prepared, coachable, and always pushing to improve. I work closely with coaches, study data between sessions, and treat every lap as a learning opportunity.

The number 22 on my car means everything to me. It was my grandpa's birthday, a man I never got to meet, but someone I think about every time I get in the car. He never got to see me race. But in a way, he's there every lap. The goal is professional racing. I'm not chasing shortcuts. I'm building something.

My motto is simple. Be comfortable being uncomfortable.

Im just getting started!
